Space4Women Initiative of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA)

Recently, I attended the Space4Women initiative of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) with the objective of facilitating access to the benefits of space exploration, science and technology, STEM education, and STEM careers for women and girls around the world in alignment with SDG4 and SDG5. It was organized by SpaceConnex.

It supported the mission of the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), by providing advocacy and raising awareness, to empower the society to be both the beneficiary of, and active and integral contributors to space solutions for the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It was a great experience and my thanks to all the mentors, attendees and organizers of the show/initiative. It was quite informative and such initiatives are needed for increasing the awareness in the field of space. More events are being organized and can be accessed at https://www.spaceconnex.com/webinar-registration15871277202951588148600481
